In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Nov. 20 against Katarina Lea Boudewyn of Jefferson on a charge of theft-fifth degree. The judgment was for a $100 fine with a $35 surcharge and a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge. She must also pay victim restitution yet to be determined and $60 court costs.
Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Raymond William Wampler of Scranton, theft-fifth degree; and Daniel J. Rosenow of Jefferson, disorderly conduct.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week of Nov. 18-22 as follows: *Steven Fisher of Grand Junction, failure to yield to vehicle on right, $100; Todd Jeffrey Mitchell of Grand Junction failure to carry registration card, $20; and Roger Dean Klocksiem of Glidden, speed, $120.
Also, speed, $90 (16-20 mph over limit): *Cory Lee Fowler of Jefferson.
Speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): Jeanne-Marie Dobson Mazy of Danville, CA, and Gary Edward Riordan of Menlo.
Speed, $40 (6-10 over): Christopher Brian Westfall of Grimes, *Mathew Henry Simons of West Des Moines and Peter Andrew Siruta III of Jefferson.
Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Ashley Caroline Burkhart of Jamaica, Joshua Harold Gingery of Cherokee, Janet K. O’Neill of Peoria, IL, Richard Lewis Stone of Fort Dodge, Michelle Denise Cannon of Ames, and Darrin Allen Charlson of Jefferson.
Failure to wear/maintain safety belts, $50: Judy Kay Contner of Scranton and Zachery Allen Waters of Paton.
Commercial motor vehicle violations: Ricky Lynn Motsick of Perry, maximum gross weight violations, two citations, $77.50 and $240.
